A certification that was somehow overlooked in the above Bio is Bob's Black belt in Tai-Karate/ Budo-Ju-Jitsu under Sensei David German (A Ju-Jitsu Student of the legendary "Judo" Gene LeBell and Karate' Student of Grandmaster Ed Parker, among others-[see his bio at the link above]).  Sensei German was world  famous for his practical, "fusion"  approach to martial arts.  He is especially well known for his innovative work-out equipment designs and for the creation of the TAI self-defense system.  Bob has often said that his Black Belt under Sensei German was one of the toughest of his certification challenges.

Since the above bio was written, Bob has been honored with certification from the World Martial Arts Hall Of Fame Sokeship Council to the rank of 10th Degree Black Belt and granted a title of Soke Dai for his accomplishments in Martial Arts.  He is also one of the elite group of survivors of both World War II and the Korean Conflict.  Sifu Chapman has dedicated much of his recent teaching to training Florida State Police Officers.
